Taylor earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from MacEwan University in 2021, completing two practicum placements in child- and family-focused agencies. She went on to obtain her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a Clinical Specialization in Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health from University of Calgary in 2024. During her graduate studies, she completed a clinical placement as a student therapist with the Child Abuse Team at the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.

Her practice begins with establishing a trusting and safe therapeutic space through a trauma-informed, client- and family-centred approach.
Drawing on her strong foundation in child and adolescent development, Taylor integrates a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs. These include Therapeutic Play, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including Trauma-Focused CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. Treatment planning is guided by a comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment, along with the goals and hopes identified by the child, youth, and their caregivers. Taylor prioritizes caregiver involvement in the therapeutic process to strengthen support systems and promote sustainable, long-term growth.
Her professional experience spans healthcare, non-profit organizations, government services, sexual violence support, child development, and crisis intervention.
